Brief History
संक्षिप्त इतिहास शिक्षाको ज्योति फैलाउने उद्देश्यले २०१९ सालमा साविक सेमलार गा.वि.स श्री नवरत्न मा.वि.का. शाखाको रुपमा एकजना श्री कुल बहादुर कार्की शिक्षक राखी २०२४ सालसम्म पूर्व प्रा.वि. १–३ कक्षा हुदैँ २०३२ सालमा नि.मा.वि. १–७ २०४६ सालदेखि प्रस्तावित मा.वि.को रुपमा २०४८ सालमा पहिलो एस.एल. सी. मा सहभागी यो विद्यालय २०५२ सालमा मा.वि.को स्थायी स्विकृती प्राप्त गरी २०६५ साल देखि उच्च मा.वि. संचालन भई व्यवस्थापन तथा शिक्षा संकाय संचालन हुदै आएको यस विद्यालयको शैक्षिक र भौतिक विकासमा यहाँका स्थानीय बासी र समुदायकै सक्रियतामा विद्यालय अघि बढेको देखिन्छ । यस अवस्थामा बयरघारी फाडेर विद्यालयको स्थापना गर्ने शिक्षानुरागी विद्यालयका संस्थापक , शिक्षाप्रेमी, दानवीरदाता, यहाँको समुदाय पूर्व तथा वर्तमान विद्यालय व्यवस्थापन समितिमा रहनुहुने अध्यक्ष ज्यूहरु , समितिका साथीहरु अभिभावक संघ, सम्पूर्ण अभिभावकहरु, पूर्व प्रधानाध्यापक , शिक्षक कर्मचारी साथीहरु, विद्यालयलाई आजको दिनसम्म ल्याइपु¥याउने सम्पूर्ण महानुभावहरुलाई नमन गर्दै हार्दिक धन्यवाद समेत दिन चाहन्छु ।
अध्यक्ष महोदय, तथा सम्पूर्ण महानुभावहरु ज्यू , २०६६ साल कार्तिक महिनामा यस विद्यालयमा प्रवेश गरी मिति २०६९ साल चैत्र देखि हाल सम्म विद्यालयको प्रधानाध्यापकको गरिमामय पदको भुमिकामा रही काम गर्ने सन्र्दभमा विद्यालयको शैक्षिक तथा भौतिक विकासमा भन्दा मेरो समय विद्यालयको आन्तरिक ंद्वन्द व्यवस्थापन समुदाय र अभिभावकहरुको विश्वास आर्जन गर्ने कार्यमा झन्डै २ वर्षको महत्वपूर्ण समय खर्चिन प¥यो । विद्यालयमा कक्षा कोठाको कमी पूर्ण अंग्रेजी माध्यम नरहेको विद्यालयको सरसफाई खानेपानी तथा आधुनिक शौचालयको कमी जसलाई व्यवस्थापन गर्ननसक्दा विद्यालयको गेटवाट हेर्दा बित्तिकै सामुदायिक विद्यालय हो भनेर परिचय दिनु नपर्ने प्रधानाध्यापकहरु एकादेशको एकदिनको राजा जस्तै बाटोमा हाजिर गर्नुपर्ने अवस्थाको गहिरो अध्ययन गरी अब विद्यालयले भावी योजना र कार्यक्रमका साथ विद्यालयको शैक्षिक र भौतिक विकासका लागि समुदाय र अभिभावकलाई साथमा लिएर गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा , शिक्षक कर्मचारी, विद्यार्थी, अभिभावकहरुको पदीय दायित्व , अनुशासन, नियमितता , आचार संहिताको पालनामा जोड दिदै शिशु (नर्सरी) कक्षा देखि कक्षा ५(पाँचसम्म) पूर्ण अंगे्रजी माध्यम ६ (छ) देखि १०(दश) कक्षा सम्म नेपाली तथा अंग्रेजी दुवै माध्यम सेक्सन विभाजन कम्प्युटर शिक्षाको २१ वटा कम्प्यूटर सहितको कम्प्युटर प्रयोगशाला ईलाइव्रेरी, विज्ञान प्रयोगशाला, हजार विद्यार्थीहरुलाई पुग्ने फर्निचर, सभाहल व्यवस्थापन, मञ्च तथा क्यान्टिन व्यवस्थापन, सरस्वती बाटिका , करेशावारीको र्निमाण , विद्यालयको पूर्ण सरसफाई कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थीहरुको मानसिक, शारीरिक,सामाजिक, बौद्धिक लगायत उनीहरुकोे मानवीय र गुणसीप विकासको लागि अतिरिक्त क्रियाकलापमा जोड दिदैँ भौतिक विकास तर्फ आधुनिक शौचालय, तथा खानेपानी व्यवस्थापन थप आधुनिक कक्षाकोठा भएका भवनहरुको निर्माण , खेलमैदान तथा ढल निकासको व्यवस्थापन गरी आजको दिनमा आइपुग्दा हामीले विगत ५ वर्ष अघि बनाएको पञ्चवर्षिय शैक्षिक र भौतिक योजनालाई पूर्णरुपमा पूरा गरी विद्यालयको शैक्षिक गुणस्तरमा होस वा भौतिक विकासमा होस नयाँगाउँ मा.वि. ले यस क्षेत्रमा आफ्नो विशिष्ट पहिचान कायम गर्दै यसै वर्ष बुटवल उप–महानगरपालिका तथा सामाजिक विकास मन्त्रालयवाट उप–महानगरपालिका यस नगरभित्रका विद्यालयहरु मध्येवाट उत्कृष्ट विद्यालय छनोट भई पुरस्कृत पाएको व्यहोरा सुनाउन पाउदा मलाई गौरवको अनुभूति भएको छ , विद्यालयलाई यो अवस्थामा ल्याइ पु¥याउनमा सहयोग गर्नुहुने सम्पूर्ण पक्षलाई हार्दिक धन्यवाद दिन चाहन्छु ।
आदरणीय सज्जनवृन्द , महाकवि देवकोटाको भनाइ अनुसार ( उद्देश्य के लिनु ? उडी छुनु चन्द्र एक) भने जस्तै अव नयाँगाउँ मा.वि. ले विद्यालयको शैक्षिक र भौतिक विकासका लागि पञ्चबर्षिय योजना २०७५÷२०८० तयार गरी यसै स्मारिकामा प्रकाशित गरेको छ । विद्यालयको पठनपाठन, सुन्दर वातावरण , विद्यार्थीहरुको अनुशासन, योग्य लगनशिल शिक्षकहरुको व्यवस्थापन जसको कारणले गर्दा विद्यालयमा बढ्दो विद्यार्थी संख्या अभिभावकहरुको विद्यालय प्रतिको विश्वास समुदायको सहयोग जसको कारणले गर्दा आगामी ५ वर्ष भित्रमा अहिलेको दोब्बर झण्डै २ हजार विद्यार्थी हुने अनुमान गरिएकोले अवको ५ वर्ष भित्रमा आवश्यक कक्षाकोठा थप गर्दै जानुपर्ने देखिन्छ । जस अनुसार विद्यालयले नयाँगाउँ मा.वि. को पूर्वतर्फ रहेको भवनलाई नर्सरी देखि कक्षा ५ सम्मका बालबालिकाहरुको लागि मात्र संचालनमा ल्याइनेछ भने पश्चिम तर्फ बनेका भवनहरुमा कक्षा ६ देखि १० सम्मका विद्यार्थीहरुको लागि प्रयोगमा ल्याइनेछ भने अबको ३ वर्ष पछि आधारभूत तहको विद्यालय यो रहनेछ भने ९ देखि उच्च शिक्षासम्मका सबै कक्षा र संकायहरुको पठनपाठनको व्यवस्था नव निर्माणाधिन २४ कोठे भवन , को पूर्ण सम्पन्नता र अन्य भौतिक व्यवस्थापन समेत गरी त्यस क्षेत्रमा लगिनेछ । पञ्चबर्षिय योजनाको वारेमा सारांशमा उल्लेख गर्नुपर्दा यस नयाँगाउँ मा.वि. लाई एउटा नमुना मा.वि.को रुपमा यस शैक्षिक र भौतिक विकास गर्नको लागि संघीय र प्रदेश सरकारको शैक्षिक नीति तथा कार्यक्रम मुलुकको आवश्यकता राष्ट्रिय तथा अन्तरराष्ट्रिय बजारमा बिक्ने र सामान्जस्यपूर्ण जीवनयापन गर्न सक्ने जीवनोपयोगी, व्यवहारिक, व्यवसायिक तथा सीपमूलक , प्राविधिक , विज्ञान तथा प्रविधि आवश्यक विषयको वारेमा विद्यालयसंग सरोकार राख्ने सबै पक्षसंग रायसल्लाह लिई नगरभित्रका कालिका , कान्ति, नवीन जस्ता अनुकरणीय विद्यालयहरुको सिको गर्दै विद्यालयलाई एउटा मोडल स्कुल र कलेजको रुपमा विकसित गर्दै लगिने शैक्षिक योजना विद्यालयले अघि सारेकोले यसको सहयोगको लागि अनुरोध समेत गर्दछु ।
With the aim of spreading the light of education, this school was established in 2019 B.S. as a branch of Shree Navaratna Secondary School in the former Semlar VDC. Initially, it operated as a lower primary school (Grades 1–3) until 2024 B.S., later expanding to a lower secondary school (Grades 1–7) in 2032 B.S. By 2046 B.S., it was proposed as a secondary school, and in 2048 B.S., it participated in the SLC (School Leaving Certificate) exam for the first time. In 2052 B.S., the school received permanent approval as a secondary school, and since 2065 B.S., it has been offering higher secondary education in Management and Education faculties. The school’s academic and infrastructural development has been driven by the active involvement of local residents and the community.
In this journey, the school was established by dedicated education enthusiasts who cleared the forests of Bayarghari. The founders, education-loving individuals, generous donors, past and present chairpersons of the school management committee, committee members, parent association representatives, all parents, former principals, teachers, and staff members have played an essential role in bringing the school to its current state. I extend my sincere respect and heartfelt gratitude to all these dignitaries.
Challenges and Progress
Respected Chairman and esteemed individuals,
I joined this school in Kartik 2066 B.S. and have been serving as the Principal since Chaitra 2069 B.S. Over the years, I have spent almost two years managing internal conflicts, gaining the trust of the community and parents, rather than solely focusing on the school’s academic and physical development. The school faced challenges such as a shortage of classrooms, lack of full English-medium education, poor sanitation, inadequate drinking water facilities, and the absence of modern toilets. These factors made it apparent that our institution was a community school at first glance.
After carefully analyzing these issues, the school took the initiative to introduce a strategic development plan focusing on:
- Academic Development: Full English-medium education from Nursery to Grade 5, bilingual education (Nepali & English) from Grade 6 to 10, division of sections, and the introduction of computer education with a well-equipped computer lab containing 21 computers and an e-library.
- Infrastructure Development: Establishment of a science lab, adequate furniture for 1,000 students, an auditorium, a stage and canteen, Saraswati garden, kitchen garden, proper sanitation, and modern classrooms.
- Student Development: Implementation of extracurricular activities focusing on mental, physical, social, intellectual, and human skill development.
- Facilities Improvement: Construction of modern toilets, provision of safe drinking water, playground development, and proper drainage systems.
As a result of these efforts, our five-year educational and infrastructural development plan, initiated five years ago, has been successfully completed. This has helped Nayagaun Secondary School establish a distinct identity in the region. It is a matter of pride that our school was recently recognized as the Best School in Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City by the Social Development Ministry. I sincerely thank all stakeholders who contributed to this achievement.
Future Plans and Vision
Respected dignitaries,
As the great poet Laxmi Prasad Devkota said, “Why aim for less? Fly high and touch the moon.” Inspired by this philosophy, Nayagaun Secondary School has formulated a Five-Year Plan (2075–2080 B.S.), published in this academic bulletin.
- Due to increasing student enrollment and growing trust from parents, the school expects around 2,000 students within the next five years, double the current number.
- To accommodate this growth, the east-side buildings will be dedicated to Nursery–Grade 5, while the west-side buildings will be used for Grades 6–10.
- Within three years, the basic-level section will be fully developed, and higher education (Grade 9+) will be shifted to a newly constructed 24-room building.
- The school is committed to enhancing academic quality and physical infrastructure by aligning with federal and provincial education policies, considering national and international market demands, and incorporating practical, vocational, and technical education.
To achieve these goals, the school will seek advice from all stakeholders, learn from model schools like Kalika, Kanti, and Naveen, and develop Nayagaun Secondary School into a leading model school and college. We humbly request support from the federal and provincial governments, local authorities, organizations, and well-wishers to make this vision a reality.
